Robin Hood's Bay

Grandly named (in 1842 after a smuggling vessel that traded here) 'Kent House' is an old fisherman's cottage standing in an elevated position overlooking the rooftops of this traditional fishing village. Retaining much of it's original character, the cottage extends over three floors, with beams and steep narrow stairways. There is gas central heating throughout and a wood burning stove providing well appointed cosy accommodation with views over the village to the sea. Within a minutes walk of the sea, there is also a good general store in the village. A free parking pass is provided for a refundable deposit

GROUND FLOOR Small sitting room with TV/video. Recessed bedroom off containing adult sized bunk beds. Bathroom with shower over the bath.

FIRST FLOOR Main sitting room with TV/video, DVD player and open fire, dining area and views over the village. Fully equipped kitchen with stable door opening onto Esplanade

SECOND FLOOR Main bedroom with double bed, en-suite shower room and views over the bay. Further bedroom with adult sized bunk beds.

OUTSIDE There is a coal house with complementary logs and upper outhouse with washing machine.

Gas and electricity included, gas central heating, washing machine, electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, ironing board, colour TV and video in both sitting rooms .Duvets, pillows and linen are provided. Please bring your own towels. The cottage is no smoking. Pets by arrangement.
